Currently the AI version of Alipay has started invitation testing, and will gradually open to all users in the future.
On June 16th, the official WeChat public account of Alipay announced that the AI version of Alipay, called "A Bao", has been officially released. This means that Alipay has become the world's first super app to achieve full AI integration. Users can swipe right on Alipay to enter the new version, where they can interact with "A Bao" in a conversational manner to get things done. They can also switch between the AI version and the classic version of Alipay at will. Currently, the AI version of Alipay is available for invitation-only testing, and will gradually be opened to all users. According to the introduction, the core ability of A Bao is to help users "get things done" better: users can simply input their needs in the input box or speak directly to achieve "conversation as a service". This marks an upgrade from Alipay's previous "display-style" to a more interactive "conversation-style" experience. Currently, there are over tens of thousands of services available on the Alipay platform, covering various scenarios such as government affairs, transportation, and daily life. These services are constantly being added to. In terms of product features, the interface of the AI version of Alipay is more streamlined, consisting of clean dialogue boxes and asset pages, while still retaining high-frequency functions such as scanning codes and transferring money. Users can input their needs through text or voice, and "A Bao" will automatically match and call the corresponding mini-programs or service interfaces. Regarding security, Alipay has made it clear that while A Bao helps users get things done, it will not handle users' money. All transactions involving fund transfers and payments will require confirmation from the user themselves. A Bao is responsible for facilitating the process and setting up the interface, but the final decision to "pay" or "not pay" will always be up to the user. Additionally, in response to the various concerns of users in the AI era, Alipay continues to promise: "If you dare to pay, I dare to compensate." The security system will continue to be strengthened.
