On the news front, according to a report from Caixin, the "Limiting Values for Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades of Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules and Inverters" has entered the final approval stage before publication, and it is expected to be officially released soon. Guotai Haitong stated that with the release of the energy efficiency national standard, competition in the photovoltaic industry will shift from price competition to efficiency and quality competition. The industry chain prices will adjust slightly, and the industry will officially enter a new stage of high-quality development guided by policies and technological upgrades. It is worth noting that on June 11th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Science and Technology Department released the "Classification of Photovoltaic Products Part 1: Photovoltaic Modules (Draft for Approval)," which significantly raised the efficiency threshold for modules compared to the previous national standard draft for soliciting opinions. Huatai believes that this move is expected to accelerate the clearing of production capacity and benefit high-efficiency battery components such as BC/HJT/TOPCon3.0. Second- and third-tier enterprises with outdated technology or tight finances are expected to gradually exit the market.
