Anhui Huaren Health Pharmaceutical (301408.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Shenhuayao Industry Co., Ltd., has received the "Acceptance Notice" for the application for registration and listing of Bromhexine Hydrochloride Oral Solution issued by the National Medical Products Administration. Bromhexine Hydrochloride Oral Solution is used for symptomatic treatment of respiratory system diseases related to mucous secretion or mucous clearance disorders in adults, adolescents, and children over 6 years old, including acute bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, acute sinusitis, and chronic sinusitis. Bromhexine Hydrochloride has a strong mucolytic effect, breaking down polysaccharide fibers in mucus and thinning mucus. It inhibits the synthesis of glycoproteins by goblet cells and mucous glands, reducing sialic acid in mucus and decreasing its viscosity, making it easier to expel. Bromhexine Hydrochloride also promotes ciliary movement in the respiratory tract mucosa.
