Shanghai Pharmaceuticals (601607.SH) announced that its subsidiary Shandong Xinyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shandong Xinyi") recently received the "Drug Supplement Application Approval Letter" (Notification No.: 2026B02904) issued by the National Medical Products Administration. The approval allows the transfer of the market authorization holder for the hydrochloride quetiapine tablet to Shandong Xinyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding (601607.SH) announced that its subsidiary Shandong Xinyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shandong Xinyi") has received the "Drug Supplementary Application Approval Notice" (Notification No.: 2026B02904) issued by the National Medical Products Administration, which approves the change of the holder of the marketing authorization for Quetiapine Hydrochloride Tablets to Shandong Xinyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Quetiapine Hydrochloride Tablets were approved for marketing in China in 2025 by Hebei Longhai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. It is used for the treatment of depression and is effective for patients with or without anxiety. In May 2026, Shandong Xinyi applied for a change in the marketing authorization holder for this drug to the National Medical Products Administration and was approved. As of the date of the announcement, the company has invested approximately RMB 5.2 million in this drug.
