TRANSCENTA-B (06628) announces that the company has received a milestone payment of 7 million RMB from its HiCB (Highly reinforced continuous bioprocessing) platform external licensing, and its CDMO business has also made significant progress. Following the strategic cooperation and non-exclusive technology license agreement with EirGenix Inc. (TWSE: 6589) at the end of 2025, and after receiving the relevant upfront payment, the two companies have reached a major technical milestone, triggering the first milestone payment. So far, the Transcenta Group has successfully met key deliverables. This collaboration is steadily progressing with the goal of implementing the HiCB technology for GMP production at EirGenix facilities. To further promote the commercialization of the HiCB platform, the Transcenta Group recently appointed Dr. Huang Guangcheng, its former Chief Technology Officer (CTO), as the global partnership lead for the HiCB platform. He will oversee global technology licensing strategies and platform implementation. Under his leadership, the Transcenta Group will continue to expand this non-exclusive licensing model, allowing the company to retain full technology ownership while generating revenue through licensing fees, customized CHO culture medium optimization services, and continuous culture medium supply. The proceeds will be reinvested in platform upgrades and core R&D pipelines. In addition, the Transcenta Group's CDMO business has also made steady progress. The company has recently signed new service contracts for GMP active pharmaceutical ingredient (DS) production using its HiCB process for complex biopharmaceuticals, as well as GMP drug product (DP) production for siRNA projects. The Transcenta Group is currently negotiating contracts for other high-potential projects, including comprehensive IND development projects, siRNA GMP drug product production, feasibility assessments, and material production for global customers.
