Li Chenggang stated that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Chile. China is willing to work together with Chile, fully utilize the mechanism of the Economic and Trade Mixed Committee to lead bilateral economic and trade cooperation, continuously deepen practical cooperation, and hopes that Chile will provide a fair, just, and non-discriminatory environment for Chinese companies operating in Chile. Li Chenggang pointed out that China and Chile have carried out effective cooperation in multilateral fora. Given the many uncertainties in the external environment and rising geopolitical risks, both sides should strengthen coordination and cooperation in multilateral fields, firmly uphold the multilateral trading system, support the World Trade Organization to play a greater role, and enhance cooperation under regional mechanisms such as APEC. Esteban expressed that Chile highly values the development of its relationship with China. China is Chile's largest trading partner and an important source of investment, and bilateral economic and trade cooperation is of strategic significance to Chile. Chile is willing to continue to deepen bilateral trade and investment cooperation, strengthen communication and coordination under the multilateral framework, and promote practical cooperation between Chile and China to a higher level.
