ShiSi Pharmaceuticals Group (02005) announced that its L-Safinamide Mesylate has been approved by the China National Medical Products Administration for registration as an active pharmaceutical ingredient in marketed preparations, making it the first domestic enterprise to receive such approval. L-Safinamide Mesylate is mainly used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, in combination with other Parkinson's medications such as levodopa.
