In a one-on-one assessment against widely used industry configurations, the marking speed of the IDI Laser marking machine has been increased by up to 2.5 times, significantly improving the hourly output while also reducing cleanroom footprint by 22%. The performance improvement is based on benchmark tests conducted using representative OSAT substrate formats and standard marking content, with measured cycle times covering end-to-end processes including substrate handling. By increasing marking speed and reducing footprint, the IDI Laser marking machine has achieved a 3.2 times increase in marking productivity per square foot.
