Scholar Edu (01769) announced that RSM Hong Kong has been serving as the company's auditor for the past ten years and their contract is expiring soon. After considering the company's business development, cost effectiveness, and the need for audit services, the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee have reviewed the need to change auditors. Therefore, once the term of the current service agreement expires, RSM Hong Kong will step down as the company's independent auditor, with the change taking effect after the company's upcoming annual general meeting of shareholders on June 18, 2026, and they will not be reappointed. Additionally, the Audit Committee has recommended that the Board of Directors appoint BDO Limited as the company's new independent auditor after RSM Hong Kong steps down, subject to approval by shareholders at the upcoming annual general meeting.
