Beijing Sun-Novo Pharmaceutical Research (688621.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chengdu Nuoheshengtai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Nuoheshengtai"), has received the "Acceptance Notice" issued by the National Medical Products Administration for the clinical trial application of project STC009 injection. The STC009 injection submitted this time is a class 1 innovative drug, intended to be applied for secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT). STC009 injection is a calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) peptide agonist developed by Nuoheshengtai based on the company's unique iCVETide peptide drug discovery platform. The research results of drug molecule discovery have been published in the top international journal Journal of Medicinal Chemistry. CaSR is a member of the C family G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR), a dimer cell surface protein composed of 1078 amino acids, capable of monitoring various signaling molecules including cations, amino acids, certain antibiotics, etc.
