According to the data from the National Charging Facility Monitoring Service Platform, by the end of April 2026, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (gun) in China reached 21.955 million, an increase of 47.4% year-on-year. Among them, there were 4.907 million public charging facilities (gun), a year-on-year increase of 29.6%. The total rated power of public charging piles reached 2.37 billion kilowatts, with an average power of about 48.38 kilowatts; there were 17.048 million private charging facilities (gun), a year-on-year increase of 53.5%. The installed electric capacity of private charging facilities reached 1.49 billion kilowatt-hours.
