On Wednesday, semiconductor stocks surged in early trading, with Cerebras Systems (CBRS.US) rising by over 10%, Intel Corporation (INTC.US) up nearly 8%, Marvell Technology, Inc. (MRVL.US) up nearly 7%, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD.US), ASML Holding NV ADR (ASML.US), Applied Materials (AMAT.US), and Lam Research Corporation (LRCX.US) all rising by more than 3%. In terms of news, on May 20th, the CEO of ASML Holding NV ADR stated that in the foreseeable future, the thriving global semiconductor market would face a "tight" situation as supply continues to tighten due to demand surpassing industry production capacity in areas such as artificial intelligence, satellites, and Siasun Robot & Automation. He mentioned that there may be intermittent bottlenecks in the chip market's supply chain and projected that by 2030, the market size could reach $1.5 trillion.
