The meeting emphasized the need to deepen the construction of a unified national large market, launch special actions to prevent abuse of administrative power, exclusion, and restriction of competition through anti-monopoly law enforcement, comprehensively use standards, price law enforcement, quality supervision, and other means, and deepen the regulation of "internal competition. " Accelerate the construction of a trusted consumer environment, strengthen the resolution of consumer disputes at the source, and enhance consumer rights protection capabilities.
On April 30th, the State Administration for Market Regulation held a party group (expanded) meeting to convey and study the spirit of the Central Political Bureau meeting on April 28th, and to discuss the implementation measures. Luo Wen, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, presided over the meeting and gave a speech.
The meeting emphasized the need to advance the construction of a unified national market, carry out special actions to curb the abuse of administrative power, exclude and restrict competition, enhance the effectiveness of anti-monopoly law enforcement, comprehensively use standards, price enforcement, quality supervision, and other methods to crack down on "overlapping" competition. They also discussed the need to accelerate the construction of a safe consumption environment, strengthen the resolution of consumer disputes at the source, and enhance consumer rights protection capabilities.
Additionally, they emphasized the need to enhance quality and technical basic capabilities, establish a new set of national measurement standards, improve the national standard system, and implement the "Quality Three Strong and One Base" project. They also discussed the importance of preventing and resolving safety risks in the market regulation field, deepening special campaigns on food safety in online delivery platforms, and strengthening the traceability of key product quality and safety.
Furthermore, they highlighted the importance of establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, solidly promoting various works to achieve practical results. They also mentioned the need to effectively carry out safety supervision and price monitoring work during the May Day holiday, strengthen duty and emergency response.
The leaders of the Administration, the Director of Anti-Monopoly, the Chief Engineer, the Food Safety Director, and the responsible comrades from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervision Commission stationed at the Administration, as well as the main responsible comrades of various departments and units of the Administration, attended the meeting for learning.
