Citibank (Citi) has announced the appointment of former Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) executive Anita Li as Head of Corporate Banking for Hong Kong, effective in July.
Citigroup (Citi) announced the appointment of former Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) executive Anita Li as the Head of Corporate Banking for Hong Kong, effective from July. Currently, Citi Hong Kong serves over 1000 corporate and institutional clients.
Li will lead Citi's corporate banking business in Hong Kong, serving clients including local enterprises, financial institutions, government agencies, and multinational corporations. She will report to the Head of Corporate Banking for Japan, North Asia, and Australia, as well as the CEO and Head of Banking for Citi Hong Kong, Aveline San.
Citi stated that Li has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to this role, she served as the Greater China and North Asia Head of Investments and Head of Financial Institutions for Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong), leading a team to serve institutional investors and financial service clients in Greater China, Japan, and Korea.
