From April 27th to May 3rd, the national railway transported 8080.1 million tons of goods, an increase of 1.63% compared to the previous period; the number of trucks passing through national highways was 4806.1 million, a decrease of 15.4% compared to the previous period; the monitored ports handled a total of 27823.4 million tons of goods, an increase of 7.64% compared to the previous period, and handled 694.7 million standard containers, an increase of 4.37% compared to the previous period.
On May 4th, the Ministry of Transport released the national logistics operation situation from April 27th to May 3rd. From April 27th to May 3rd, the national railway transported 80.801 million tons of goods, an increase of 1.63% month-on-month; the number of trucks passing through the national highways was 48.061 million, a decrease of 15.4% month-on-month; the monitored ports handled a cargo throughput of 278.234 million tons, an increase of 7.64% month-on-month, with a container throughput of 6.947 million TEUs, an increase of 4.37% month-on-month; civil aviation supported 123,000 flights (including 4,587 cargo flights, including 3,167 international cargo flights and 1,420 domestic cargo flights), an increase of 2.89% month-on-month; postal and express delivery collected approximately 3.637 billion items, a decrease of 7.74% month-on-month; and delivered about 3.743 billion items, a decrease of 4.93% month-on-month.
