Since March this year, various branches of Bohai Bank have joined forces to focus on the work scenarios and pain points of "two courts and two employees", instead of simply providing financial knowledge in an overwhelming manner. They have moved financial classes to logistics parks, courier stations, and ride-hailing car charging stations, organizing a series of "small and beautiful" and "precise and practical" online and offline activities. These activities aim to truly embed the concept of financial security into the hearts of this group.
The city is still asleep, but they have already gone out; the lights are on in a thousand households, but they are still busy. Delivery men, takeout workers, truck drivers, and ride-hailing drivers - this group of laborers, affectionately called the "two drivers and two workers," form a new form of employment and are the "capillaries" of the city's operation, as well as one of the groups with an urgent need for financial knowledge. Since March of this year, CBHB (09668) branches have worked together to focus precisely on the work scenarios and pain points of the "two drivers and two workers," rather than conducting a general "flooding" of financial knowledge. They have brought financial lessons to logistics parks, rider stations, and ride-hailing charging stations, using small and practical online and offline communication activities to truly embed financial security concepts into the hearts of this group. Before Labor Day, the "Street Corner Financial Lesson" made the "urban runners" stop and listen to understand the risks. "Master Wang, have you ever received a text message asking you to click on a link to refund an 'abnormal order'?" "Too many times! I almost clicked on it before, but today I realized it's all a scam!" In late April, with the guidance of the Tianjin Public and Financial Consumer Protection Center, CBHB set up financial classrooms at busy delivery and takeout spots in core commercial areas in Tianjin. Different from traditional lectures, CBHB staff proactively approached delivery and takeout workers who were waiting for orders or unloading goods, providing one-on-one explanations. Taking advantage of the high frequency of mobile payment use and large transaction volumes among riders, the presenters used real examples such as "fake customer service refund scams", "brushing order rebate inducement transfers", and "ride-hailing contracts disguised as leases" to clearly explain the scams. Carefully prepared venues, necessary supplies, and tailored course content... CBHB brings professional financial services to the "urban runners" and creates mobile financial classrooms for them. Moreover, they opened a "Green Service Channel" and a "Change Purse Exchange" service at the event for riders and ride-hailing drivers. A ride-hailing driver, Mr. Li, who had just finished the morning rush hour, completed the "Change Purse" reservation and account security check with the help of bank personnel in just ten minutes. He said, "In our line of work, time is money. The bank coming to our resting place to teach and assist without delaying orders is truly 'delivering to the right place'!" Anti-fraud Knight Competition with three parties: a raincoat lets the safety concept "wear" on the body If the highlight of Tianjin's activities lies in "embedded scenes," then CBHB Changsha Branch's approach stands out in "creative breakthroughs." In late March, with fine rain in Changsha, CBHB Changsha Branch partnered with the Changsha Anti-Fraud Center and Taobao Flash Purchase Platform to hold a unique "Rider Care Day" activity at the Taobao Flash Purchase Changsha Union Station. Instead of a dull reading of regulations, a "Financial Knowledge Knight Competition" took place. "Have you ever received a call from someone claiming to be a 'platform customer service' asking for a refund and requesting you to pay a deposit first? Is this a scam?" "Yes, definitely a scam!" The riders answered in unison. The professional instructors from the Changsha Anti-Fraud Center dissected the most common scams that take advantage of takeout riders, such as "online loan scams" and "brushing order rebates," all derived from real cases - the victims could easily be their fellow workers. CBHB gave each participating rider a customized anti-fraud raincoat. The back of the raincoat was printed with a striking anti-fraud slogan - "Before brushing orders, ask yourself, how could pie fall from the sky." After putting on the raincoat, a rider named Xiao Liu, who had been doing takeout for three years, smiled and said, "This coat not only blocks the rain but also 'blocks scams'! From now on, I'll wear it every day while delivering, essentially advertising to the entire street." A seemingly ordinary raincoat, due to its design and emotional warmth, became a mobile financial security propaganda tool and a special "contract" between CBHB and the riders. In April, CBHB Changsha Branch, together with the Changsha Anti-Fraud Center and Taobao Flash Purchase, created and released a special financial education video for new citizens, focusing on common financial fraud scenarios faced by new citizens and using real cases as the basis. Through immersive storytelling, they portrayed scams such as brushing order rebates and false loans, paired with authoritative interpretations from professional officers and bank consumer protection officers, in order to dismantle the traps and promote avoidance skills, making the concept of safety rooted even deeper. From "financial education" to "advocating for rights," allowing financial warmth to spread through every corner of the streets The "two drivers and two workers" group is an important part of the city's new residents and a key point for financial institutions to implement the concept of "financial service for the people." A CBHB spokesperson stated, "When facing this group, we cannot only talk about risks without solutions, or only speak in general terms without understanding their time and hardship. Our goal is to ensure that every dissemination of financial knowledge is contextual, warm, and resonant." Next, CBHB will continue to deepen cooperation with anti-fraud centers and new citizen groups, exploring more "lightweight, immersive, and replicable" financial education models to spread the seeds of financial security with the "urban runners" to every consumer's heart!
