Lai Fang "Wealth Report": High net worth individuals are increasingly investing in property and conducting business in multiple locations.
High-net-worth individuals are increasingly investing in and operating businesses at multiple locations, and allocate time to live in different places, thereby driving the growth of corporate aviation activities.
Today, Lefang released the 20th edition of the "Wealth Report," which points out that the world's wealthiest individuals are undergoing significant changes in their lifestyles, work, and travel patterns. Global wealth is increasingly characterized by multi-location living patterns, including more frequent long-distance travel and more frequent movement between financial centers and lifestyle hubs. High-net-worth individuals are increasingly investing in multiple locations, operating businesses, and allocating time to live in different places, thereby driving the growth of private aviation activities.
VistaJet, the world's first and only global private aviation company, released data revealing that the activity level of routes connecting financial centers and lifestyle destinations continues to grow.
According to VistaJet's private aviation data, the fastest-growing international private jet routes by 2025 include:
Africa to Asia: +42%
Middle East to North America: +28%
South America to Europe: +28%
North America to Africa: +26%
Asia to the Middle East: +20%
Europe to the Middle East: +17%
These increases reflect the increasingly close connections between emerging financial centers, traditional capital markets, and high-end lifestyle destinations.
Although traditional routes such as New York to London and New York to Miami still lead in overall traffic, VistaJet's data shows significant growth in non-traditional routes, reflecting the rise of multi-location living patterns.
The most significant private jet route combinations with growth in 2025 include:
Jeddah to Riyadh (+269%) - Driven by domestic transformation in Saudi Arabia
Abu Dhabi to London (+238%) - Capital flow, sovereign wealth, and education demand
Nantucket to New York (+192%) - Thriving multi-location living style
Nice to Parma (+137%) - Expansion of the Mediterranean high-end tourism circle

Liam Bailey, Director of Global Research at Lefang, said: "The face of private jet users is changing. According to data from the global leading private aviation company, VistaJet, 45% of customers under 45 who fly privately for the first time, reflecting the increasing influence of a new generation of mobile wealth creators. This increasingly mobile group is reshaping residential demand, preferring to own property in multiple cities and lifestyle destinations rather than relying on a single primary residence. Driven by this, demand for high-end residential properties in convenient global hub cities and quality second homes continues to grow."
Ian Moore, Chief Commercial Officer of VistaJet, said: "Based on VistaJet's unique global flight data, we observe the continuous increase in the mobility of global wealth, with customers living in multiple cities and continents. The demand for long-haul routes between emerging and mature financial centers continues to grow, while European high-frequency routes also continue to play an important role. At the same time, the customer structure is gradually changing, with the proportion of customers under 45 who fly privately for the first time rising, reflecting that the new generation of wealth creators are younger and have a more global perspective. Overall, these trends show that wealth is integrating into a more fluid lifestyle, global seamless connectivity becoming a basic condition, and private aviation playing a crucial role in promoting multi-location living."
