China General Nuclear Mining (01164) announced that in the first quarter of 2026, the mines invested by the group produced a total of 580.9tU of natural uranium, with a completion rate of 97.1% for the quarter. Among them, the Group's 49% owned Kazakh joint venture, Shemiza Bayi Uranium Limited Liability Partnership (Shemiza Bayi), produced 154.5tU of natural uranium; while the other 49% owned Kazakh joint venture, Ortarek Limited Liability Partnership (Ortarek), produced 426.4tU of natural uranium.

As of March 31, 2026, the Group held a total of 967 tonnes of natural uranium (about 2.51 million pounds U3O8) at a weighted average cost of $80.60 per pound U3O8. The Group has also signed contracts for the sale of 2519 tonnes of natural uranium (about 6.55 million pounds U3O8) that have not yet been delivered, at a weighted average selling price of $89.20 per pound U3O8.
