RoboSense introduced its new "Genesis" digital framework and two flagship chips based on this framework during its Technology Open Day event.
On April 21, 2026, RoboSense (02498) officially launched its new "Genesis" digital architecture and two flagship chips based on this architecture at the technology open day event, marking the official entry of LiDAR into the era of image perception. The "Genesis" architecture is a set of rapidly iteratable SPAD-SoC chip-level solution platforms, aimed at providing core support for the large-scale and high-performance iteration of LiDAR. The Phoenix chip launched based on this architecture is the world's first single-chip integrated native 2160-line automotive-grade SPAD-SoC, achieving over 4 million pixels resolution and 600-meter ultra-long range detection, already certified for automotive use and will be mass produced on vehicles within 2026. The Peacock chip unveiled simultaneously is the industry's first mass-producible 640x480 resolution all-solid-state large-array SPAD-SoC, with a 180135 ultra-wide field of view and millimeter-level precision, planned for mass production in the third quarter of 2026, mainly targeting automotive blind spot assistance, Siasun Robot & Automation, and spatial intelligence markets. This release signifies that the core competition of LiDAR has shifted to chips, following the Moore's Law in the semiconductor industry to continuously improve performance while optimizing costs, laying the foundation for extensive applications in the fields of smart cars and Siasun Robot & Automation.
