On April 20th, Zheng Zhajie, director of the National Development and Reform Commission, presided over a symposium for privately-owned enterprises. Representatives from various fields such as metal materials, new energy vehicles, industrial park services, mineral resources, and textiles, including Hailiang Group, Xiaopeng Group, Wanyang Group, Tianqi Lithium Corporation, and Lutai Textile, engaged in in-depth discussions. They exchanged ideas and suggestions on the current economic situation and actively responding to the complex changes in the external environment. During the meeting, the enterprise leaders opened up about their production and operation realities, getting straight to the point and having candid conversations. They generally agreed that in the face of increased uncertainty in their production and operation due to the complex and severe external environment, the timely introduction of a series of policies and measures by the government to stabilize growth and promote development, coupled with active measures taken by the enterprises, have resulted in stable production and operation of the enterprises with ample innovation momentum. They expressed confidence in further consolidating their development advantages. Furthermore, the participating enterprises put forward many pragmatic and insightful policy suggestions in areas such as expanding effective demand, optimizing industrial park management, accelerating the cultivation of open artificial intelligence and low-altitude economic application scenarios, improving import and export management policies, rationalizing overseas layouts, and assisting enterprises in building international brands. Director Zheng Zhajie carefully listened to each enterprise leader's speech, interacted warmly with everyone, and addressed their concerns one by one. He stated that under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, various parties have responded to challenges calmly and actively. The main economic indicators for the first quarter of the "15th Five-Year Plan" have shown progress, achieving a stable and good start, which is inseparable from the hard work and dedication of the private entrepreneurs. The perception of macroeconomic policy implementation by enterprises is the most direct and authentic, and the suggestions provided by them are helpful and meaningful in formulating and improving policy planning. These suggestions will be categorized and sorted out, and further studied with relevant parties. He encouraged private enterprises to further strengthen their confidence in development, seize development opportunities firmly, and use the certainty of their own development to counter the uncertainties of the external environment. In the next steps, the National Development and Reform Commission will, in accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, effectively enhance the efficiency of macroeconomic policies, actively expand domestic effective demand, accelerate the cultivation and growth of new momentum, promote the standardized development of industrial parks, further enhance the resilience of the industrial chain and supply chain, and continuously consolidate the positive trend of stable economic development.
