China General Nuclear Power Corporation (01816) announced that on April 19, 2026, the No. 1 unit of CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of the company) completed all commissioning work and met the conditions for commercial operation. Huizhou Nuclear Power will also apply for the electricity business license and other relevant documents as required. Generally, after the completion of the relevant procedures, the above-mentioned time will be recognized as the time when the unit is put into commercial operation.
CGN POWER (01816) announced that on April 19, 2026, Unit 1 of Guangdong Nuclear Power Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Company) completed all commissioning work and is ready for commercial operation. Huizhou Nuclear Power will also process the electricity business license and other documents according to relevant requirements. In general, after the relevant procedures are completed, the above-mentioned time will be recognized as the time when the unit is put into commercial operation.
After Huizhou Unit 1 is put into commercial operation, the number of nuclear power units managed by the company (including joint ventures) will increase to 29, and the installed capacity of operating units will increase from 31,838 megawatts to 33,040 megawatts.
