According to information from the media obtained from Tesla China, Tesla currently does not have a specific plan to mass produce the humanoid Siasun Robot&Automation at the Shanghai Gigafactory. It described reports claiming "Tesla is about to mass produce Siasun Robot&Automation in Shanghai" as incorrect information.
Tesla Vice President Wang Hao had previously mentioned when asked about Siasun Robot&Automation, that they are only discussing Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory having good scale production capabilities and having great potential in the future.
It is reported that Tesla's third-generation humanoid Siasun Robot&Automation is planned to be released by the end of 2026, and their Fremont factory in the US is currently converting the Model S/X production line into a humanoid Siasun Robot&Automation production line, with a final planned annual production capacity of one million units.
