National Bureau of Statistics: National fixed-asset investment in the first quarter of 1027.08 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7 percent year-on-year.
In the first three months, the national fixed asset investment reached 10,270.8 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year.
According to the data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to March, the nationwide fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) was 10.2708 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year (calculated on a comparable basis). Among them, private fixed asset investment decreased by 2.2% year-on-year. In terms of month-on-month comparison, fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) grew by 0.52% in March.
By industry, investment in the primary industry was 233.4 billion yuan, an increase of 15.9% year-on-year; investment in the secondary industry was 3.6765 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.8%; investment in the tertiary industry was 6.3608 trillion yuan, a decrease of 1.0%.
Industrial investment increased by 5.8% year-on-year. Among them, investment in mining increased by 15.0%, investment in manufacturing increased by 4.1%, and investment in electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply increased by 9.0%.
Infrastructure investment increased by 8.9% year-on-year. Among them, investment in aviation transportation increased by 43.3%, investment in water transportation increased by 34.1%, investment in electricity, heat production, and supply increased by 9.2%, and investment in ecological protection and environmental governance increased by 9.0%.
In terms of regions, investment in the eastern region increased by 0.7% year-on-year, investment in the central region increased by 1.9%, investment in the western region increased by 1.0%, and investment in the northeastern region decreased by 10.0%.
By type of registration and statistics, fixed asset investment in domestic enterprises increased by 2.1% year-on-year, while fixed asset investment in enterprises with Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan investments decreased by 5.0%, and fixed asset investment in foreign-invested enterprises decreased by 6.3%.
