The Hong Kong Land Registry announced that a total of 13 contract revisions and 2 land exchange cases were registered at the Land Registry from January to March 2026, including 3 technical contract revisions that do not involve the payment of land premium amounts.
The Land Registry of Hong Kong announced today (April 15) that during the quarter from January to March 2026, a total of 13 deed amendments and 2 land exchange cases were registered at the Land Registry, including 3 technical deed amendments that did not involve supplementary land premium amounts. Of the 15 land transactions, 1 was located on Hong Kong Island, 10 in Kowloon, and 4 in the New Territories, with the figures excluding small-scale building cases.
During the quarter, ten sites were granted through private treaty grants. One in Ho Man Tin was designated for university development, one in Tung Chung for electricity substation use, one in Kowloon City for residential development by the Urban Renewal Authority, and one in Tuen Mun for residential development by the MTR Corporation. The remaining six were granted to the Hong Kong Housing Authority for public housing development.
There were no additional sites registered for grant during the quarter. The total land premium income from the above land transactions is approximately HK$21.072 billion.
