On April 14th, Tencent Cloud official account announced that Tencent Light Application Server Lighthouse was the first to launch the exclusive application template for Hermes Agent, supporting one-click rapid deployment in the cloud (the enterprise-level ClawPro product will also be supported within this week). It is reported that like the Lobster, Hermes Agent is an open-source project that has quickly become popular since its release this year, with over 60,000 Stars in less than two months. However, Hermes Agent emphasizes its scalability: it not only has a longer memory and more accurate recall ability, but also introduces a complete self-learning mechanism, which can autonomously create and optimize skills during use, providing a landing path in the direction of becoming smarter over time. Hermes Agent officially emphasizes its "independence from local devices," supporting running in any environment, and is primarily adapted for Linux, making it more suitable for long-term operation in the cloud. After deployment on a cloud server, the Agent is isolated from the local environment and has 7x24-hour online capabilities. Through messaging channels such as Enterprise WeChat, continuous interaction and task calls can be achieved. Tencent Cloud provides three ways to open - purchase new servers: directly create new instances, select the Hermes Agent image, recommend 2 cores 4G or above configuration; reinstall the system: users with existing Lighthouse instances can switch to the Hermes Agent image by reinstalling the system; if you do not want to do it yourself, you can use a sentence to let Tencent Cloud's built-in AI assistant "AAA Cloud Service Sister K" help with the installation. Tencent Cloud stated that users who directly choose to switch from Lobster to Hermes do not have to worry about migration thresholds. Hermes Agent is built-in with the hermes claw migrate command, supporting one-click migration of OpenClaw settings, memory, skills, and API keys, significantly reducing transition costs.
