On April 14th, the Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate (HIBOR) generally rose, with the one-month HIBOR related to the mortgage rate increasing by 7.732 basis points to 2.30976%. The three-month HIBOR, reflecting the cost of bank funds, rose by 2.464 basis points to 2.45494%.
The overnight rate was 2.495%, a decrease of 3.631 basis points. The one-week rate increased by 4.262 basis points to 2.37226%, while the two-week rate increased by 2.542 basis points to 2.31048%. In terms of longer-term rates, the six-month rate increased by 0.41 basis points to 2.69446%, while the one-year rate decreased by 0.452 basis points to 3.02536%.
