The Supreme Leader of Iran has put forward three proposals.
Iran's Supreme Leader proposes three points
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a written speech on the evening of the 9th regarding the death of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei forty days ago and the current war situation, proposing three main points: aggressors must compensate for losses, the management of the Strait of Hormuz will enter a new stage, and Iran will never give up its legitimate rights and will consider all local "resistance fronts" as a whole.
In the speech, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reviewed the recent developments in the situation, stating that Iran has made significant sacrifices in the conflict, accusing the enemy of committing serious crimes, and expressing mourning and condolences for Ali Khamenei. He announced that the Iranian nation had achieved a "decisive victory" in this "imposed war," and Iran is rising as an important force, while the hegemonic system is declining, and all these achievements are the result of the bloodshed of the Iranian military and civilians.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei emphasized the importance of people's participation: "Your voices in the squares will influence the negotiation results." He called for national unity, urged the people to continue to actively participate and support each other to alleviate the pressures of war, and warned the people to be vigilant against information spread by hostile media.
Regarding the regional situation, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei addressed Iran's "southern neighbors," calling on them to correctly understand the current situation, stay away from those who exploit them, and show goodwill towards Iran. He clearly proposed three main points: Iran must seek "war reparations" from aggressors and demand repayment of the "blood debt of martyrs"; Iran's management of the Strait of Hormuz will enter a new stage; and Iran will never give up its legitimate rights and will consider all "resistance fronts" as a unified whole.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated that Iran will pursue its established goals on the negotiation table and on the battlefield, and will "thoroughly defeat the enemy."
