On the news side, on April 9th, NIO announced that the first batch of the new flagship large SUV - NIO ES9 has arrived at various stores nationwide for public viewing. The official defines it as the "culmination of NIO's eleven-year innovation system" and the "pioneer of the intelligent electric executive flagship SUV category". It is understood that the new car will officially debut and start pre-sale at the NIO ES9 product technology launch event tonight at 19:00, with an expected market launch at the end of May and delivery starting on June 1st. Huatai pointed out that 2026 will be a big year for NIO products, with the company planning to launch multiple new and redesigned models intensively within the year. The flagship SUV ES9 will start its technical unveiling in April, with the vehicle equipped with the third-generation pure electric platform, 5nm vehicle level intelligent driving chip and Tiangxing intelligent chassis, and a CLTC driving condition maximum endurance of 620 kilometers, positioning in the high-end full-size pure electric SUV market to complement the brand's flagship product lineup. The LeDao brand will launch the large five-seat SUV L80 based on the NT3.0 platform. The company believes that the intensive launch of new cars by NIO in 2026 will be the core driver for the company to achieve its annual profit target.
