On Wednesday, chip stocks rose across the board in early trading, with Intel (INTC.US) up more than 8%, ASML (ASML.US) up more than 7%, TSMC (TSM.US) up more than 5%, Broadcom (AVGO.US) up more than 4%, and Nvidia (NVDA.US) up nearly 2%.

Sponsored ADR (TSM.US) up more than 5%, Broadcom Inc. (AVGO.US) up more than 4%, and NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) up almost 2%. On the news front, with the US and Iran reaching a two-week ceasefire agreement, market risk appetite has rebounded. US President Trump stated that following the two-week ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran, both sides are expected to have "soon" face-to-face talks in Islamabad, Pakistan to push for a long-term agreement, with talks possibly taking place as early as this week.
