The company is breaking through the boundaries of simply manufacturing photovoltaic modules and batteries, and is building a vertically integrated ecosystem covering "photovoltaic manufacturing - power station development - energy storage system - green computing power".
CENTRAL NEW EGY (01735) announced its performance for 2025, achieving revenue of approximately HK$11.017 billion, an increase of 82.64% year-on-year; operating profit of approximately HK$210 million, an increase of 64.75% year-on-year; EBITDA of approximately HK$322 million, an increase of 34.10% year-on-year; and net profit of HK$60.734 million, an increase of 12.27% year-on-year.
Since 2022, the company has successively established efficient photovoltaic N-type battery and advanced photovoltaic component manufacturing businesses in Fentai, Huainan, and Tongcheng, Anqing. Currently, the projects in both locations have been fully put into operation. While consolidating the main business of photovoltaic manufacturing and power station development, the company plans to further extend into the energy storage field and strategically lay out energy storage and green computing infrastructure. The photovoltaic manufacturing and energy storage projects in Ningxia are progressing in an orderly manner according to plan.
During the reporting year, the company has signed several framework cooperation agreements in the fields of new energy project development, decarbonization, and sustainable aviation fuel. The board of directors believes that these collaborations will help the company fully leverage its experience and capabilities in new energy project development and operations and expand the clean energy opportunities in markets along the Belt and Road Initiative.
On this basis, the company is actively extending downstream in the industrial chain, continuing to increase investment in related businesses, constructing a flexible energy network integrating generation, storage, and consumption to enhance green electricity absorption capacity and power system regulation capabilities. Meanwhile, leveraging its own clean electricity and energy storage infrastructure, the company is prospectively planning the construction of AI computing centers, aiming to provide stable, low-carbon power supply for high-energy-consuming computing infrastructure and extending the value chain from green power supply to green data services.
Additionally, the company will continue to seek green energy business opportunities in Fantai County and Tongcheng City to develop efficient photovoltaic N-type battery and advanced photovoltaic component supply business.
Looking ahead, the company's vision is clear: to become a leader in clean and intelligent energy. The company is breaking through the boundaries of solely manufacturing photovoltaic components and batteries, constructing a vertical integrated ecosystem covering photovoltaic manufacturing, power station development, energy storage systems, and green computing. The company's strategic direction is based on the following core pillars:
- Accelerating energy independence: The significant impact of global events on fossil fuel markets has made energy security a top priority for countries and individuals. CECEP Solar Energy, previously viewed primarily from an environmental perspective, is now seen as a crucial component of energy independence. The company is committed to expanding manufacturing capacity to meet the surging demand. The company will provide tools from efficient residential panels to utility-scale photovoltaic power stations, enabling countries, businesses, and homeowners to control their own energy production, immune to external shocks and price fluctuations.
- Strengthening supply chain resilience: Recent global disruptions have exposed the fragility of centralized supply chains. The company is actively constructing a more robust and diversified supply network. By investing in regional manufacturing partnerships and exploring innovative procurement strategies, the company ensures that customers receive reliable and uninterrupted product supply.
- Driving innovation to address a more challenging future: Global energy demand is growing, and the need for reliable electricity has never been more urgent. The company's research and development focus on creating the next generation of CECEP Solar Energy technology.
The world is facing significant challenges, but also accelerating the transition towards clean energy. At CENTRAL NEW EGY, the company foresees that new energy is not just a product, but also the cornerstone to a more peaceful, prosperous, and secure world. The company is not merely building a business, but laying the foundation for a future where energy empowers rather than conflicts.
