The report stated that Capital A's CEO Tony Fernandes said, "HKEX reached out to us. They see Capital A as one of the best companies in the ASEAN region and they want this company to be listed in Hong Kong. I think the board has approved, and we will start working on this. We have hired bankers. It may list in July or August this year."
He first mentioned the possibility of listing in Hong Kong in May 2025.
