On the news front, CONANT OPTICAL released its annual performance, reporting an income of approximately 2.186 billion RMB during the period, a year-on-year increase of about 6.1%; gross profit was about 918 million RMB, a year-on-year increase of 15.4%; and net profit attributable to shareholders was 558 million RMB, a year-on-year increase of about 30.2%. The announcement stated that the company's functional and standard lenses business both saw revenue growth, with functional lens revenue up 1.7% from 2024, and standard lens revenue up 12.6%. Customized lens revenue declined by 0.6% due to factors including U.S. tariffs.
It is worth noting that CONANT OPTICAL announced its intention to participate in the latest round of financing for domestic AR+AI eyeglass unicorn Rokid with 180 million RMB, subscribing to no more than 5% of its common stock, with the aim of deepening the company's strategic layout in the smart eyeglass field, enhancing synergies in the industrial chain, and strengthening cooperation with industry leaders.
