Liu Enpei has been reappointed as a non-executive director of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority for a further term of two years.
The Hong Kong government announced today (March 30th) that the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong has exercised the power transferred by the Chief Executive under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance (Chapter 485) ("Trillions of MPF Ordinance") and re-appointed Lily Liu as a non-executive director of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA). The appointment is for a period of two years, from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2028, including the first and last days. A spokesperson for the Hong Kong Treasury announced the appointment, stating: "Ms. Liu was first appointed as a non-executive director of the MPFA in 2022, providing practical and valuable advice to the MPFA in legal terms. We are confident that she will continue to contribute to the work of the MPFA to promote the interests and retirement protection of Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme members."
