Guangzhou Automobile Group (02238) announces its annual performance for the year 2025. The group achieved sales revenue of 96.542 billion yuan, a decrease of 10.43% compared to the previous year. The company's shareholders' equity loss was 8.784 billion yuan, a turnaround from a profit to a loss compared to the previous year, with a basic loss per share of 0.85 yuan. In 2025, facing systematic challenges brought by the reconstruction of industrial ecology, demand structure, and market competition, the group's production and operations continued to be under pressure. The total annual automobile production and sales were 1.7444 million and 1.7215 million respectively, a decrease of 8.98% and 14.06% compared to the previous year. However, the group achieved consecutive quarter-on-quarter sales growth from the second quarter of 2025 onwards. The sales of new energy vehicles were 433,600 units, a decrease of 4.64% compared to the previous year, accounting for approximately 25.19% of the total sales, an increase of about 2.5 percentage points from the previous year. Energy-efficient vehicle sales were 454,600 units, an increase of 0.84% compared to the previous year. During the reporting period, the proportion of energy-efficient and new energy vehicle sales for the group increased to 51.60%, an increase of about 6 percentage points from the previous year.
