SYMPHONY HOLD (01223) issued a profit warning, expecting the net loss attributable to shareholders for the fiscal year 2025 to not exceed HK$35 million, a decrease compared to the previous year.

Symphony Holdings (01223) announced that for the financial year ending on December 31, 2024 (2024 fiscal year), the net loss attributable to the owners of the company is expected to be approximately 143 million Hong Kong dollars. However, the Group expects that for the financial year ending on December 31, 2025 (2025 fiscal year), the net loss attributable to the owners of the company will not exceed 35 million Hong Kong dollars. Based on a preliminary assessment of the current financial information, the expected decrease in net loss for the 2025 fiscal year is mainly attributed to the following factors: (i) an increase in other income and gains; (ii) a decrease in financing costs; (iii) the absence of losses from the sale of financial assets, which were recognized in the 2024 fiscal year; and (iv) fair value gains on financial assets recognized in profit or loss.
