Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) launches Apple Business platform to expand the growth space of map advertising and service revenue.
Apple announced the launch of a new enterprise service platform "Apple Business", aimed at helping businesses manage devices more efficiently and reach customers.
Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) announced on Tuesday the launch of a new enterprise service platform, "Apple Business," aimed at helping businesses manage devices more efficiently and reach customers, while also expanding its service revenue sources by strengthening advertising features in its map application.
According to a statement released by Apple Inc., the platform allows businesses to configure employee groups and device settings, and will be launched for free in over 200 countries and regions globally on April 14. Susan Prescott, Vice President of Enterprise and Education Marketing at Apple Inc., stated that this platform represents a significant step in the company's long-term efforts to help various businesses leverage the Apple Inc. ecosystem for operations and growth.
Although Apple Business itself is a free service, one of its core goals is to drive advertising spending growth. In recent years, the advertising business has become an important focus of Apple Inc.'s service sector.
Specifically, Apple Inc. plans to introduce map advertising features in the United States and Canada this summer. When users search for relevant keywords in the map application, businesses will receive more prominent display positions, thereby increasing exposure and customer acquisition capabilities.
Furthermore, Apple Business will help businesses reach users through channels such as email, electronic wallets, and voice assistants, further enhancing the commercial closed loop within the Apple Inc. ecosystem.
It is worth noting that Apple Inc. has previously launched a similar "Apple Business Connect" project, and this new platform is seen as a further upgrade in the company's enterprise services and advertising monetization field.
