CALC(01848): Chen Zheng appointed as an independent non-executive director

CALC (01848) announced that independent non-executive director Mr. Zhuo Shengquan (Mr. Zhuo) will retire at the company's annual general meeting of shareholders to be held on May 29, 2026. Mr. Zhuo was first appointed in May 2015 and has served as an independent non-executive director for over nine years. Therefore, he will not seek re-election in order to comply with the company's corporate governance practices. After the conclusion of the 2026 annual general meeting of shareholders, Mr. Zhuo will retire as an independent non-executive director and will no longer serve as chairman of the nomination committee, nor as a member of the audit committee and remuneration committee. Mr. Chen Zheng (Mr. Chen) has been appointed as an independent non-executive director, as well as a member of the audit committee, remuneration committee, and nomination committee, effective from March 24, 2026. Following his appointment as an independent non-executive director, and effective from March 24, 2026, Mr. Chen has been appointed as a member of the audit committee, remuneration committee, and nomination committee respectively.
