Future World Holdings (00572) announced that it is expected to incur a loss of approximately HK$50-58 million for the year ending on December 31, 2025, compared to a profit of approximately HK$13 million for the year ending on December 31, 2024. This is mainly due to (i) a one-time gain of approximately HK$65 million from significant revisions to other loans in the same period; (ii) a decrease in the fair value of investment properties from approximately HK$58 million in the same period to approximately HK$35 million in the reporting period; and (iii) a net provision of approximately HK$300,000 for credit loss allowances on loans and receivable interests in the reporting period, compared to a net reversal of approximately HK$23 million in the same period.
