Rainbow Food (01068) announced that the Group is expected to incur a loss of approximately HK$70 million for the year ending December 31, 2025 (comparative year: approximately HK$36 million). The increase in loss is mainly attributed to the following factors: (1) a one-off deduction of lease liabilities and debt repayment income of approximately HK$117 million recorded in the previous year, which did not recur in the comparative year; (2) a decrease of approximately HK$36 million in deductible input VAT deduction recorded in the comparative year; (3) a decrease of approximately HK$21 million in property, plant and equipment deductions recorded in the comparative year; and (4) a decrease of approximately HK$32 million in impairment losses on property, plant and equipment recorded in the comparative year.
