Gemini officially launches in Hong Kong! Web version first, later expanding to mobile app.

Alphabet Inc. Class C's artificial intelligence (AI) Gemini will be fully launching in Hong Kong. According to media reports, Alphabet Inc. Class C announced that Gemini will be open to all users in Hong Kong for experience. This update will be rolled out in phases, initially focusing on popularizing the Gemini web application, and later expanding to cover the mobile app. Prior to this expansion by Alphabet Inc. Class C, Gemini was only available to businesses in Hong Kong, and ordinary individuals needed to connect to a virtual private network (VPN) to use Gemini.
With the opening of Gemini for use in Hong Kong, users can directly access Alphabet Inc. Class C's AI models to assist with various daily tasks, such as writing complex emails, brainstorming ideas for personal plans, and planning family trips. It can also process and generate multimedia content such as images and music, interact with information through text, images, and voice. However, Alphabet Inc. Class C has not disclosed whether the models being opened this time cover the latest versions.
Gemini's model functionality has always been integrated into and driving Alphabet Inc. Class C's ecosystem, and various communities in Hong Kong, including businesses, developers, educators, and students, have been continuously using these functions.
