Walvax Biotechnology(300142.SZ): Hong Kong Watson and Sino-Health Element reach a strategic cooperation agreement for overseas markets.

Walvax Biotechnology (300142.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Walvax Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Hong Kong Walvax"), has recently signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement for Overseas Markets" with Jiangsu Zhonghuiyuantong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhonghuiyuantong"), reaching a consensus on strategic cooperation in overseas markets. Both parties agreed that Zhonghuiyuantong and its affiliates will designate Hong Kong Walvax (or a related party designated by Hong Kong Walvax) as the exclusive partner for the international business development of vaccine products (referring to trivalent influenza virus subunit vaccines produced by Zhonghuiyuantong) in the region (excluding the Philippines and Macau, including both public and private markets), responsible for registration (including any local clinical trials that may be required), promotion, and sales of vaccine products ("Cooperation Purpose"). After the effective date of this agreement, if Zhonghuiyuantong intends to implement local production in the region, the two parties may engage in friendly negotiations regarding local production cooperation. Zhonghuiyuantong has committed that, during the term of this agreement, Hong Kong Walvax as the partner for the international business development of Zhonghuiyuantong's vaccine products in the region should be exclusive, and Zhonghuiyuantong shall not and shall not allow, directly or indirectly, any other third party to enter into cooperation arrangements for the Cooperation Purpose as stipulated in this agreement.
