Citigroup: Macao's average daily gambling revenue in the first eight days of March increased by 11% year-on-year, maintaining the forecast for the full-month gambling revenue.

The company conservatively maintains its March total gambling revenue forecast at 22.5 billion yuan, expecting a year-on-year growth of 14%, which means the daily gambling revenue for the remaining days of the month needs to reach approximately 7.33 billion yuan.
Citibank released a research report stating that the total gambling revenue in Macau for the first eight days of March has reached about 5.65 billion Macau patacas. This translates to a daily average revenue of about 706 million Macau patacas, which is approximately 4% lower than the daily average revenue in February, but about 11% higher than the daily average revenue in March of last year. The bank believes that multiple concerts will support the performance in Macau for March. According to industry sources, the VIP room gambling volume has decreased by about 2% to 4% compared to the previous month, and the mid-range gambling revenue has dropped by about 3% to 5%. However, the win rate in the VIP rooms is slightly higher than normal. The bank conservatively maintains its forecast for total gambling revenue in March at 22.5 billion patacas, expecting a 14% year-on-year increase, meaning that the daily average gambling revenue for the remaining days of this month needs to reach about 733 million patacas.
