NEW SILKROAD (00472) issues profit warning, expecting the net loss attributable to shareholders to increase by approximately HK$310 million to HK$350 million compared to 2025.
Silk Road Tourism Group (00472) announced that for the year ending on December 31, 2025, the Group is expected to incur an increase in the attributable net loss of the Company's owners, ranging from approximately HK$310 million to approximately HK$350 million, compared to a net loss of approximately HK$228 million in the same period in 2024. This is primarily due to: (i) impairment of goodwill; and (ii) impairment of properties, factories, and equipment. The impairment loss is a non-cash item and is not expected to have an adverse impact on the Group's operating cash flow or business operations.
