IFBH (06603) opened nearly 15% higher, after a cumulative drop of over 20% in the stock price over the previous three trading days.
IFBH (06603) opened nearly 15% higher, after falling over 20% in the previous three trading days. As of the press time, it rose by 14.97%, at HKD 12.06, with a trading volume of HKD 1.7029 million. On the news front, in the afternoon of March 4th, Yifuk IF issued a stern statement through its official Weibo account, stating that there have been false information circulating on the internet about IF brand's 100% coconut water products being "added with external sugar and water". Some media and individuals have spread these unverified information, and the false statements have been maliciously hyped, seriously misleading consumers and damaging the good reputation of the IF brand. The statement pointed out that since its launch, IF brand's 100% coconut water has always adhered to the concept of "natural and pure" products, strictly following production standards, and no external sugar, water, or artificial flavors are added during the production process, with all sugars coming from natural coconuts themselves. Previously, the Beijing News published an article stating that its Consumer Research Institute had selected four common coconut water products on the market for testing, and the results showed that despite the ingredient labels only stating "coconut water" for these 100% pure coconut water products, isotopic testing revealed the presence of added external water and sugar. Although the Beijing News blurred out the brand logos of the tested products, one of the products can be recognized from its packaging and capacity specifications as IF coconut water. This testing result has raised doubts in the market about the "additional sugar" in IF coconut water.
