He welcomes state-owned enterprises to participate in gold trading and the development of related industrial chains in Hong Kong. At the same time, utilizing Hong Kong's platform advantages in fundraising, professional services, risk management, and corporate finance, he aims to expand and strengthen international business development to support the high-quality development of the national finance sector.
John Lee Ka-chiu mentioned that the SAR government will actively align with the national "15th Five-Year Plan," seize new opportunities, continuously consolidate its advantages as the world's top cargo hub and a transit hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), accelerate the expansion of the aviation network, and promote Hong Kong's development as the first aircraft parts processing and trading center in Asia to further enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness as an international aviation hub. He hopes that the SAR government will deepen cooperation with the Civil Aviation Administration of China to promote synergy among the airports in the GBA, and contribute to the nation's goal of building a strong civil aviation industry.

He is confident that more state-owned enterprises will seize opportunities in the North Metropolis, leverage Hong Kong's unique advantages of internal connectivity and external communication under the "one country, two systems" framework, use Hong Kong as a springboard to expand into overseas markets, and achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefits.
