Jiangxi Copper Corporation (00358) announced that on December 24, 2025 (London local time), the company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Jiangxi Copper (Hong Kong) Investment Limited, launched a formal offer to acquire all issued and to be issued shares of SolGold plc (the target company) at 28 pence per share in cash. The court meeting and the target company's shareholder meeting held on February 23, 2026 (London local time) voted in favor of the acquisition scheme. On March 2, 2026 (London local time), the acquisition scheme was approved by the UK court ruling, and it is expected to become effective on March 4, 2026 (London local time).
