On March 2nd, Zheng Zhaijie, the director of the National Development and Reform Commission, presided over a forum for private enterprises to listen to opinions and suggestions on expanding domestic demand, stabilizing investment, and starting the "14th Five-Year Plan" economic development. Business leaders from the fields of automation equipment, modern seed industry, shipbuilding, artificial intelligence, and other fields participated in the forum. At the meeting, the business leaders detailed the opportunities and challenges facing their enterprises and industries, expressing their intention to actively respond to changes in the situation, increase investment, accelerate technological innovation, continuously improve product and service quality, and contribute to the high-quality development of the national economy and society while promoting their own development. They also suggested further optimizing the implementation of the "two reductions" project and "two new" policies at the national level, supporting private enterprises to undertake major national technology missions, increasing financing support, regulating market competition order, strengthening the integration of production, education, and research in emerging fields, and talent development. Director Zheng Zhaijie listened carefully to the speeches of the participating enterprises and interacted with them warmly, responding to each concern and demand. He stated that macro policies should bring benefits to micro entities, and the suggestions and advice provided by the enterprises are very helpful for the scientific formulation of policy planning. He assured that difficulties faced by enterprises will be taken seriously and solutions will be coordinated.
