The Civil Aviation Administration releases the "National Civil Transport Airport Production Statistics Report for 2025."
The "National Civil Transport Airport Production Statistics Report for 2025" released by the Civil Aviation Administration shows that by the end of 2025, there were a total of 270 certified transportation airports in China. The three main production indicators reached a new historical high, with a total annual passenger throughput of 1,529.046 million, freight throughput of 21.864 million tons, and aircraft takeoffs and landings of 12.448 million, representing an increase of 4.8%, 9.0%, and 0.4% respectively compared to the previous year. The international route passenger and freight throughput grew rapidly, reaching 1,177.96 million passengers and 98.71 million tons respectively, representing an increase of 18.7% and 12.7% from the previous year.
