On the news front, according to reports from Caixin, AUX ELECTRIC had previously issued a "Notice on Price Adjustment in 2026," stating that due to a significant increase in the prices of main raw materials since the beginning of 2025 (copper prices up 40%, aluminum prices up 20%, and refrigerants up 80%), the company's procurement costs have surged, putting pressure on operations. To ensure product quality and stable supply, starting from March 1, 2026, prices of all AUX central air conditioning products will be raised by 6%-10%, and orders placed before February 28 will still be executed at the original price. China Galaxy Securities pointed out that the home appliance industry is facing cost-driven price increases and some structural upgrades. This round of cost increases is different from the significant cost increases seen in the eight consecutive quarters from 2020Q3 to 2022Q2. The firm believes that the price increases in the air conditioning sector are necessary, and they expect that Q4 of 2025 will be the period with the most intense competition and cost pressures in the air conditioning market. The price increases since 2026 will significantly alleviate industry cost pressures.
