Citigroup released a research report stating that during the first seven days of the Lunar New Year Golden Week, the number of visitors to Macau reached 1.2125 million. Among them, the number of visitors on February 19 alone reached 227,900, setting a new record for single-day visits. Mainland Chinese visitors accounted for approximately 76.9% of the total number of visitors, while Hong Kong visitors accounted for about 16.5%. The bank believes that Macau's visitor trend is positive and in line with the predictions of the Macau Tourism Office. Citigroup's forecast for Macau's gaming revenue in February this year is 20 billion Macau patacas, a year-on-year increase of 1%, reaching about 79% of the level in February 2019. Specifically, the bank expects the average daily gaming revenue in Macau from February 19 to 23 to be around 1.1 billion Macau patacas, while the average daily gaming revenue on other days in February is estimated to be around 750 million Macau patacas.
